At the beginning of Semester 2, 2014, students were engaged in a building project where a recycled seat and timber screens are to be constructed. Throughout this semester, students have been heavily involved in all aspects of this project, ranging from building proposals to paving and general construction.

We have been quite busy building the seat and hope to start the timber screens next semester. The timber screens are 1.8 metres high and will span 20 metres down Auckland Street towards the town centre. We intend to engage the local Indigenous community to create a major art piece which can be viewed by the public.
