This song was written and performed by a selection of Koori students at Bega High School, Far South Coast NSW. Working with Grow the Music, through a South East Arts project, the students developed the lyrics and the melody.

On 22 September 2018 the students performed this song life at Giiyong Festival – the first multi-arts Indigenous festival on Yuin Country.
